Green Plesioth

Green Plesioth is a Subspecies of Plesioth. Green Plesioth are very similar to ordinary Plesioth in terms of behavior and attacks, yet they differ in color and aggression. They are most often seen in the water, but have adapted legs for hunting. When they're weak, the Plesioths' top fin flattens against their back and their head.

Notes

• Since Monster Hunter & Monster Hunter Freedom, they also have the ability to put hunters to sleep when they jump over the player after leaping from the water. This ability to put its prey to sleep has been retained in Monster Hunter Freedom Unite; now they can leap out of the water to put hunters to sleep with even greater ease than before.
• In Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, Green Plesioth is able to fire a sweeping water blast while underwater.
